I'll be at the Central Coast Writers' Conference

I was invited to teach at this year's Central Coast Writers' Conference taking place Oct 2-3 in San Louis Obispo! I'm very excited and look forward to meeting YOU if you can make it. I'll be teaching two workshops (one on publishing short stories and one on dialog--I'll link to the descriptions once they're posted on the conference site. Olaf on The Bookish Dilettante

Doctor Olaf got a nice mention on the Bookish Dilettante's blog ("On Books and Publishing and Whatnot") the other day:

Doctor Olaf now appears in NYU's Literature, Arts, and Medicine Database, an " annotated multimedia listing of prose, poetry, film, video and art that was developed to be a dynamic, accessible, comprehensive resource for teaching and research in MEDICAL HUMANITIES, and for use in health/pre-health, graduate and undergraduate liberal arts and social science settings."
